Details
I had the same problem with the browser... if you close the sidebar using the
hot area and then click it again to re-open, it only comes out about 20 pixels.
You have to manually drag it to view the contents of the sidebar window.
Reinstallation did not solve this problem.

I've seen this too, but not every time, and not recently. 1. What build are you
using? 2. Does it happen every time you collapse the sidebar, or are there
specific circumstances, or steps to reproduce this?

this has been fixed in recent builds including netscape beta
