Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.72 [en] (Win98; U) BuildID: 2000022820 First startup of mozilla, trying to keep my profiles on another hard drive to use them in both windows and linux. The profile manager starts up, I say "sure I'll create a profile", then ask to change the folder, select the folder and it crashes. Happens no matter where the folder location is. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start mozilla (first time start so it brings up create user profile window) 2. click "next" on create new profile 3. click "change folder" 4. select folder (in my case it is d:\mozilla but I also attempted c:\temp) 5. click 'ok' Actual Results: a crash MOZILLA caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at 0000:00000007. Steve, This looks like bug 27573- whose fix made it in the first M15 build-have seen it reported a few times and sent some verbiage for release notes (late!) as it is not in M14 builds. This is the build on mozilla- 2000022821 not 2000022414 as expected. workaround is to use default directory- or get later nightly build
Grace, thanks for again finding the dup for me :-) I wish my bugzilla queries returned as fast as yours do! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 27573 ***
