On many recent builds, the first time I run the browser the window comes up and it is only big enough to hold an absolutely minimal title bar. The "N", title, and "-[]X" buttons are all that are visible. I can drag an edge and resize, but sometime later the problem recurs. This also happens occaisionally when launching mail from the browser window. I couldn't find any exact dup of this, but 29056 comes close.
I would guess this is a dup of bug 26834
Hmmm. The summary of 26834 mentions size, but none of the bug comments touch on the problem I've described. On my NT machine, the window is technically open. It's top left corner is at the top left corner of the screen. The problem is that the size is teeny tiny. If marked dup of 26834, more info needs to go into that bug.
I really don't know. cc'ing saari who I think is working on other bug
Did you quit or crash when the window was minimized? That will produce this kind of behavior.
It does seem crash related. I guess I've been crashing a lot more than normal exit. Seems likely given that attempts to quit cleanly have all be crashing :-) If I manage to get out cleanly then it seems things are OK.

This should be fixed as I know both danm and myself have various safeguards in place.
