Details
With M14 on startup, with the Wingate client installed, the splash screen is
displayed and then:
MOZILLA caused an invalid page fault in

I can get around this bug, by disabling the WinGate client via the Control
Panel. Mozilla starts normally and I can view local content, but of course not
browse the web. Interestingly enough I do not need to restart after
disabling/enabling the client. Enabling the Wingate client while Mozilla is
running has no effect. (no crash, I can open new browser windows, etc)
I proceeded to nuke the installation (M14 with talkback)and Mozilla registry
file and downloaded the latest nightly build, first the .zip and then the .exe
version. With those, I don't get a page fault, but Mozilla does not start. The
splash screen is displayed, and then disappears but no browser window, no
taskbar icon, and no mozilla listed when I CTRL-ALT-DEL.
See also bugs #30170, #28403 and #28629 as they seem to be similar.
