Opening a link in a new window, then clicking a link on the main page causes a crash

Go to www.cnn.com or www.space.com
Let the page completely load.
Right-click on any internal link, and "Open Link in New Window".
As soon as the page starts loading, switch back to the original window, and
click on any other link. Within a few seconds Mozilla will crash, and both
windows will close.
Apparently M14 can't have the parent and child window loading pages simultaneously.
