When the button to install PSM is clicked, it begins downloading but shows no progress. After about 5 minutes (I tried three times) it comes back with the following error message: XPInstall Results PSM: Error encountered: 227

I had this same problem until I realized that mozilla was installed as root and I was trying to add the PSM to it as a regular ol' user. Perhaps this is not a bug but a security feature of the operating system. Makes me think, though, that this little trip up should be mentioned on the iPlanet page.
