Note this need is *not* for the sorting of search results (see bug 31800), but this should only effect the ability to list one search engine at the top of the list in the sidebar search panel and in the choice list under preferences. Whoever ships the mozilla browser will want to list their default search provider of choice at the top of the choice list and set that default. Yahoo will want to put Yahoo at top, Netscape wants to put Netscape Search at the top. How do we implement this kind of functionality?

When we have this feature implemented, we can remove the dot before Netscape Search (bug 31531) which was a beta1 hack. M16
