h'm, this might be due to my switch in window managers, but... when using the opt commercial bits [beta1 branch] on linux [2000.03.17.06-nb1b], i noticed that the cursor within a context menu is no longer the arrow, but an X. recently noticed this on linux only. running the AfterStep window manager (with gnome). 1. in a browser window, bring up a context menu by clicking the left mouse button. 2. release the mouse button (make sure the context menu remains displayed). 3. mouseover the menu list. observe that, unlike on mac and winNT, the pointer is a big, black X. i'd expect it to be the left-pointing arrow cursor. pavlov, d'you notice any cursor changes when using Sawmill? i'll go double-check with Enlightenment to see if this is a wm issue...

yeah, this is not a problem when running Enlightenment as the wm. dunno if it's possible to fix for all wm's including AfterStep. if not, then we can relnote for the nonce. feh.
this bug already exists, but i can't find it in my list. pav? you sure that i have it?
I see this (always have) on kde, too. So it's not just AfterStep.
i _swear_ this is a dupe of another bug but for the life of me, I can't find it. This is probably related to 26361
