Details

If the style.position attribute is changed to "absolute" after the element is inserted in the document, the change appears to be ignored. See http://steveapp.home.mindspring.com/mozillabug/positionbug1.html for an example. This was tested with the Gecko beta.

Sorry - I originally tried this only with the Gecko release. In the 2/22/99 release it works fine.

Using 3/29 build buttons work with position whether set after or before element is inserted inserted. Fix verified
