No, there should still be a Cancel button in the installer, even if you can't cancel the actual download/copying process, to just close the installer before you get to the start of the download/copying. It would do the same as selecting File > Quit does now. There should probably be a Close box on the Installer window, too, for the same purpose. Any of these quit actions should bring up a dialog saying `Are you sure you want to cancel the installation?'.

No, this isn't a dup of 22194: 22194 covers cancelling during the actual copying of files, whereas this bug (as far as I can tell) covers cancelling the installation before the copying begins. As such, both the dependencies of this bug seem spurious and should be removed.

Removing irrelevant dependencies (bug 22194 is covering the cancel-during-copying issue), clarifying summary. At the moment, it seems to the user as if -- once you get past the license agreement -- there is no way of exiting the installer. (You can choose `File' > `Quit', but that's not at all obvious.) That's why we need a `Cancel' button.
