need to add support in the installer to allow users to select download locations to download xpi files.

This bug will track only the Mac. If Unix is deemed a blessed beta2 feature another bug should be filed for it.

Site selector maps correctly but the failover mechanism doens't appear to be working right. Need to investigate if this is us or SmartDownload (probably us).
