Looks like the jar: protocol has regressed again, as of about Monday 3/13,
jar:http: URL's don't load on Linux. Windows is fine. When attempting to load the
above URL (for example), the browser spins indefinitely, with "Reading data from
www.relisoft.com" in the status bar, and the page never loads.
Gayatri, could you help me fix this? This is critical infrastructure for Beta2
Mitch--Let us sure work on it. I could find some time tomorrow as I am currently
helping on a beta1 bug.

Not an M15 stopper.
However, this is critical to our beta2 plans and must get immediate attention.
Gayatri, if you need help please start rallying people immediately! Thanks.

Let's please work on this soon! The whole signed script architecture depends on
this.

Fixed, see bug 35831. Unix directories were being created with the wrong
permission bits.
