open sample 0 fire up editor mode click between the 'r' and the 'm' in "formatted" at the top of the doc press ENTER the document reflowed properly, but does not repaint. obscure the window and the display is correct. this only happens sometimes, depending on the selection in the document.

Troy: this is the non-repaint problem that we are having. If you follow, and remove our workaround to force a repaint, you should see the problem. We will mark the workaround in the editor so you can find it.

I'm looking at the viewer menu items, but it isn't clear how to "fire up editor mode". I choose the Tools|Editor Mode menu item and clicked: I got a cursor, but then typein didn't work
you probably are not building the editor (so trying to load the editor via the nsRepository is dying quietly.) set MOZ_EDITOR=1 and rebuild.

This should be okay now. We'te done (the first step anyway) towards better incremental reflow painting
