I see this on today's windows comercial trunk build. 1. Install and launch the browser 2. Type some search text, say, netscape, in the locationbox. 3. Press the SEARCH button to the right of the locationbox. 4. Obseerve that instead of giving me a search result listing , I am directed to the page http://home.netscape.com/escapes/search/ntsrchdft-0.html 5. Also the Sidebar search panel does not show the search results. This is not reproducible 100%.
I'm nearly 100% certain this is a server-side thing, because I've seen it in 4.x since I started seeing it in seamonkey. When this happens sometimes just hitting the search button again will do the right thing.
gable, Can you find out who would own this on the server side?
Someone on the server side owns this bug. Gable do you know who?

"Server folks know about this and have fixed it." - doesn't that mean this is 'fixed' ie not wfm? Regardless, marking VERIFIED as I lack the energy/will to generate the necessary spam.
