If the "My Sidebar" is open when the browser comes up, you are forced to
authenticate twice. Once for the sidebar, and once for the default home page.
If the sidebar is closed, you only have to authenticate once for the default
home page, at which point, when you open the sidebar, it is persistant and
works.
So in other words, if you authenticate with "My Sidebar" you shouldn't have to
authenticate again for the default home page.
Version is 2000032808 on Win98.

Is this still a bug? Or, did the fix for bug 32335 take care of this as well?
I don't have a sidebar requiring authentication with which to test this.
the problem is a missing nsIPrompt from the sidebar. This will/should go away
after bug 46859 gets fixed. marking dep.
Depends on: 46859
RESOLVED: WFM
the Netscape 6.1 beta final candidates I tested (which are essentially the
mozilla 0.9.1 builds).
Sending to sidebar for verification. There are times where I don't understand
sidebar's behavior as a browser, so I want some confirmation this WF everyone else.
