If I open a new window, and then immediatelly double click on the URL in the location bar the text doesn't get selected. I have to triple click which is very annoying. This is only the first time, it works fine later (whether the window is selected or not).
Actually, on mac, an initial double-click in the location/url bar _will_ select the URL text. But on linux and win98, it simply sets the cursor at the selection point on the initial double-click. I believe the plan, per bug #19217, is that either single or double-click on the initial event will select the URL text, as it does in Nav4.x win32. At any rate, passing this over to radha/selection who seems to own this feature.

The triple click seems no longer to be required (linux/windows build 2000051020), marking FIXED.

*SPAM*: Changing the QA contact of all open/resolved Selection bugs from elig@netscape.com to BlakeR1234@aol.com. After the many great years of service Eli has given to Mozilla, it's time for him to move on; he has accepted a position at Eazel. We'll be sad to see him go, and I'll do my best to fill his spot...
