Description: Mail appears to hang upon sending large messages, in cases where there is a large file attachment. Compose window disappears on send, which is a good behavior, but when sending large attachments, the app apperas to "hang." although it is processing the sending of the large message. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Mail 2. Press "New Message" 3. Compose new message and attache large file (i.e., ppt file) 4. Press "Send" Compose window disappears immediately, but app apears to hang in this position while message is being sent.

Marking confirmed, setting to P2 and M15. This is an important bug to fix because of the user impact.

Which build are you using? If bug http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28348 gets addressed, it may make the user experience better.

Also, this is pretty much the same as bug http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32222.

Verifying as duplicate of bug 32222. 'Send mail and duplicate in Sent should happen asnchronously' (Users cannot do anything when sending big attachment over slow momdem..) However bug 32222 has an awkward summary. Will suggest it be altered.
