claudius sez this has cropped up before in the past... seems to have regressed --but only on the mac [opt comm bits 2000.04.05.10], not winNT or linux. to repro: try to expand the Bookmarks menu in the personal toolbar, or any of the menus in the taskbar. result: you might see a brief flash of the menu's outline, but other than that, the menu never expands.
