Mozilla makes my sound device crackle and pop

Details
When mozilla starts, my sound device crackles. When I load a new URL or open a
new browser window, the sound device crackles. Build 2000040412
i686-pc-linux-gnu. The sound device is an SB Live and I am using ALSA. However
this only happens with moz.

not sure about this one. does say netscape create any sounds when surfing?

Haha found this one. All my mozilla stuff is on one disk, and exercising that
disks interferes with the audio output. Marking invalid.

mine's never crackled and pop. But I think I heard it say, "GGggggReat!"
