Build: 2000-04-10-08-M15
Steps to reproduce:
1. Choose Task->Mail via Menu.
2. Log in your mail account eitherIMAP or POP.
3. New Msg -> type the email address to your test accounts.
Actual result: JA IME is on ,but the input is still English.
Expected result: JA IME should not be on when you compose your En mail.
Are you working on JA OS? It doesn't happen on Win NT, is it Linux specific?

Please also try HTML composer (File->New->Edit Blank Page) if that is
reproducible.

I agree with Xianglan. This is not regression from beta1. We know the bug
29836.
