From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; m14) BuildID: 2000041309 (debug build) It seems that some of page redraw events get lost with bigger pages. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. load URL 2. select view bugs already reported today. 2. select view page source 3. select the scrollbar with the mouse 4. scroll fast up and down holding the mouse pointer down. Actual Results: The redraw overwrites older content, which is not erased. Expected Results: The older content should be erased.
This looks like it could be a DUP of bug 35983, "recurring problem in view source - new text painted on top" -- except in that report no mention is made of scrolling. I've seen nothing like this in any recent build on WinNT; very fast scrolling will sometimes create a fractional-second blitting glitch, but it never lasts at all.
The screen shot from 35983 is very similar to the problem I have seen. From this it is clear that the phenomena has started before 2000-03-13. So I will close my bugreport (Less e-mail noise :-) ), hoping that 35983 will get confirmed. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 35983 ***
