On all recent nightlies (including this one, 2000041316) clicking on a personal toolbar link sets the location box to the current page, not the new page. E.g. I start with about:blank I click on Mozilla.org, location box is still about:blank I click on Bugzilla, location box becomes http://www.mozilla.org/ I click on one of my own links, location box becomes http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/. If I hit refresh, it updates the location box to the current page. It's really quite annoying, tho.

Was able to produce this bug under Linux, this is a regression as it worked correctly under M14 and previous milestones as well as the Netscape beta

This also happens for me in 2000041805 (the milestone M15 build) on the PC (Win 98). Shortly after, I start getting a "connection was refused when attempting to contact <web server here>" message whenever I try to go to another page. I have to quit Mozilla before I can browse again.

Can you still reproduce this with current builds? (I couldn't on 05-29-08-M16.) Changing from other to Browser-General and reassigning (probably should be history if bug exists). Other is for tracking bugs.

can someone verify this on linux?

I noticed with 62508 that the location bar did temporarily change to "about: blank" after I started Mozilla and clicked the mozilla.org link on my personal toolbar. However, it then correctly changed to http://www.mozilla.org. This sounds a little different than the original problem.
