3-9-99 build Windows (Mac has same bug, writing up separately and assigning to ftang) - Go to the URL: http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/html40/entities/ and select any of the 3 links at the bottom of the page to see "Latin-1 Entities", "Symbols and Greek Letters", or "Other Special Characters" Notable characters missing entirely are these: Π Π † † ∠ &#x2220 Many others show incorrectly, for example Latin capital ligature OE renders as an "R", the Greek capital letter for omega renders a copyright symbol, etc. Still others are rendered as boxes.
Note: Mac bug assigned to ftang is 3587
