Mozilla M16 2000041608, Mac OS 9.0.4
Mozilla has recently been having trouble with properly recognizing/executing
keyboard shortcuts. There are many times when keyboard shortcuts don't work at
all on the Mac.
-Use Mozilla for a while.
-You should notice that not all of your command-key shortcuts are working
(command-Q being the most notable as almost everyone uses it). Hasn't been broken
for that long (less than a month).

See bug 36016, "Command-<key> not working" -- the reporter there seems to see
command-keys working until there are no more Mozilla windows up. Does that
match your experience, or do you have problems with comman-keys even when
a Mozilla window is up throughout a session?
Summary: Keyboard shortcut regression - inconsistent → [Mac] Keyboard shortcut regression - inconsistent
Nope, this happens no matter the state. The behavior of keyboard shortcuts is
reminiscent of the pre-M14 era (see bug 22529). With or without open windows.
This will (probably) end up getting marked a dup of that one (I just don't want
my command-key shortcuts to get overlooked by the Control-key shortcuts!). Also,
this was a toss up between Menus or XPApps - it was working pre-M16 so I chose XP

probably not a menu issue. saari?
can we get a definitive set of steps to reproduce this? the current description
is a little vague. thanks.

I'll play around and see if I can come up with something definite (I hate these
types of bugs as they usually consist of "It just doesn't work! Don't ask me why
or how!"). I too doubted if this was a bug for menus (was going to go against
XPApps, among others).

I'm the bug #36016 guy. I've been noticeing lately that command keys haven't
been working, but wasn't sure if it was general paronia or just that I'm having
trouble typing. BTW, does mozilla seem to occassionally kill your command-c/v in
other applications?
Resolved duplicate of 36016 as that's a confirmed bug and probably as close as
I'll get to reproducing this bug. Mozilla M16 2000042010, Mac OS 9.0.4.
Will open new bug if I come up with anything definite on keyboard shortcut
behavior that's not covered in 36016.
