I am crashing _every_ time the first time I run after a build. I will attach the output. running debug build on HPUS 11.00 Here are the steps I am taking that currently very reliably reproduce: 1) run mozilla 2) select some of the sidebar tabs ( search, bookmarks etc... ) 3) tasks->mail->new message 4) enter login name and hit tab to complete it 5) Must click on the subject because tabbing from the to: box doesn't move to the subject 6) enter test into subject 7) tab to the content 8) enter test into content 9) send 10) close mail 11) quit mozilla This same process will not crash mozilla in subsequent runs. Does this point to problems in the .mozilla directory? pref problems? It seems to enter code the first time that does not get entered in subsequent runs. attempts to reproduce in wdb have failed so far.

I am seeing this today except the line number in nsFrameManager.cpp has changed to 1776 from the 1653 it was before, although I haven't investigated to see if this is just due to new code added since the last time I checked. I didn't follow the exact steps I outline before, either. On restart it didn't load a page to begin with ( instead tries to load about:blank ), and does not crash when I shudown, but leaks a webshell. build id is 2000061408

Still here on 7/19, in nsFrameManager.cpp line 1776. Same break occurs on Linux, although it does not cause a core there. :-(

Have stopped seeing this problem. it is possible the check-in to fix bug 43472 fixed this as well. marking as works for me.
