duplicate of bug 18825 - marked "works for me" on April 11th. You should try a more recent build, and see if this bug is still there.

sheila - depending on when your profile was created, you may want to delete/rename your .msf file for your Inbox to have the product generate a new one. See if this helps.

come to think of it... week ago i saw the same with a new profile. Submitted bug 38013 wich occured in M16 Linux 2000-050215. Attachment 8261 [details] shows one unread msg in inbox when all was read.

What is the result of deleting the old .msf file? Is this a dup?

vrfy dup...do appear to be the same, we'll recheck this once 32369 gets fixed
