Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.5-15 i686; en-US; m15) BuildID: 20000041811 If you click in the address bar at the top of the browser, then immediately click on one of the buttons above the bar (Home, Mozilla.org, Tinderbox, Bonsai etc) then after the new page loads, the address shown in the address bar will not have updated and will still show the address of the old page Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Goto http://www.yahoo.com (or any other site) 2.Click in the address bar at the top of the window 3.Click on the 'Mozilla.org' button above the address bar Actual Results: The browser went to mozilla.org, but the address bar still showed yahoo.com Expected Results: The address in the address bar should change to reflect the navigation I'm guessing that this is semi-deliberate so that the address bar doesn't update halfway through a user typing a new address, e.g. through a javascript refresh. However, there can't be that many users who would type half an address, hit the Home button and then carry on typing the address.
This is bug 33870, "URL bar shows the wrong url after changing pages by links or bookmarks", which is fixed in the M16 nightlies. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 33870 ***
