Linux apprunner's first default window is drawn strangely: everything in the window is offset down oh, about the height of the menubar. It offsets and clips the icons in the toolbar and generally looks bad. Any windows drawn subsequently are drawn correctly; it's only the first that has the problem. I see this problem only on Linux, not Windows or Mac. Windows looks like it may be initially drawn offset as well, but then (perhaps) a complete refresh clears it up. I've lost my earlier builds so I can't be certain, but I'm pretty sure this problem didn't happen before about noon on Saturday, 14 Mar 99. It showed up sometime that afternoon or evening.

can this wait until m4? I believe the problem has to do with the menubar addition. since menu code is being fixed tomorrow or so, this can probibly be fixed after that point easier.

this is mostly an apprunner performance sucks bug. moving to m6 as apprunner performance still sucks.

this dosen't seem to be happening anymore (probably because apprunner redraws itself at least 2 billion times as it displays the initial webpage). could someone mark this closed/verify/whatever?
