* TITLE/SUMMARY
Flash animation halts prematurely (nin.com)
(broken out of bug #16125)
* STEPS TO REPRODUCE
0) Launch Seamonkey
1) View http://www.nin.com/flp/randomgrid.html
(in order to view http://www.nin.com/flp/randomgrid.swf. The 4.24.00 Win32/Mac OS
builds don't allow you to display Flash files directly.)
2)
* RESULT
- What happened
Upon clicking "click here", the randomgrid.swf flash animation ceases to execute;
the window remains black.
- What was expected
Behavior equivalent to that on 4.x
* REGRESSION
- Occurs On
Mac OS Seamonkey (4.24.00 AM optimized build)
Win32 Seamonkey (4.24.00 AM optimized build [NT 4, Service Pack 5])
- Doesn't Occur On
Netscape Communicator 4.7 Win32/Mac OS.
* CONFIGURATIONS TESTED
- [Mac] Beige Power Mac G3 (266 MHz PowerPC 750), 96 MB RAM (VM on; 1 MB of VM
used), 1024x768 (Thousands of Colors), Mac OS 8.6
- [Win32] Vectra VL (233 MHz P2), 96 MB RAM, 800x600 (True Color), NT 4.0 SP5.
- [Linux] Vectra VL (266 MHz P2), 96 MB RAM. Red Hat Linux 6.0 (GNOME).

Eeep! Step two is missing:
2) When you see the underlined "click here" text, click it.
Links incorrect (the SWF and HTML files are in different directories). The URL
for the webpage displaying this problem is:
http://www.nin.com/pgs/randomgrid.html
The URL for the actual SWF is correct. Updating URL field.

Flash --> nsbeta2. Flash is on b2 criteria.

Nominating nsbeta2 per comments from troy@macromedia.com that this is one of
four bugs that together are MM's greatest request for us to get fixed for
nsbeta2, and that these four bugs (which may be DUPs--investigating) "pretty
much break every web site in existence" that uses Flash.

This is working with today's build on windows(2000062008) and mac (2000062008).
The fact that the movie is playing offset is bug 37126. Can anyone confirm this
is working fine? Thnx.
Confirm. Marking fixed.
