Build Date & Platform Bug Found: win32 commercial seamonkey build 00042809-m16 installed on Dell P500, Win98 macos commercial seamonkey build 00042808-m16 installed on G3/400, MacOS 9.04 linux commercial seamonkey build 00042809-m16 installed on P200, RedHat 6.1 Overview Description: The file attachment feature is broken. The file attachment dialog does not appears. This happens using the File->attach file menu option or using the attachment button off the compose toolbar. Note: the file menu option "attach web page" does function. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Launch todays 04/28 commercial seamonkey build 2) Open Messenger 3) Start a new mail message 4) Click on the Attachment button off the toolbar Nothing happens 5) Use the File->Attach menu option Nothing happens Actual Results: No error message occurs on screen. On Linux, the terminal windows says the following: AttachFile() failed to get the local file to attach Expected Results: The file attach dialog should appear when requested. Additional Builds and Platforms Tested On: This worked previously in yesterday build on win32 commercial seamonkey build 00042709-m16 installed on Dell P500, Win98 macos commercial seamonkey build 00042708-m16 installed on G3/400, MacOS 9.04 linux commercial seamonkey build 00042709-m16 installed on P200, RedHat 6.1 Additional Information: No work around found. I can not drag and drop file to the attachment area.
