using build 2000-05-01-09M16, choose complete or custom to install Java. Components appear to install, but setupscreen does not close, small window with 'Java is installing' is open. Have to use task manager to close
putting on nsbeta2 radar.

I saw this too. Was using 5/5 Commercial 2000050513 on WinNT 4.0 SP4.

Putting on [nsbeta2+] radar for beta2 fix.
Whiteboard: [nsbeta2+]
Please note that once the installation stalls this way, prior Java plugins (e.g. if you have Beta 1 build) will cease to work until you do an indenpendent JRE1.3 installation. This impairs what used to be working in earlier builds as well.
