Details

I'm guessing this is related to the button style changes from the weekend. Feel free to re-assign if you think I'm wrong. Try collapsing the browser toolbar. 1) you can't uncollapse it...I think evaughan owns this bug. but you can work around this 2) close the window and then re-open it 3) When the window comes back up you can now uncollapse the toolbar. do so. 4) notice that the toolbar uncollapses but it is only the same # of pixels tall as the uncollapse button. It doesn't resize to show you all of the toolbar.
The main problem here is a DUP of bug 35181, "Using grippie to collapse toolbars completely hides them", marked [dogfood+] -- but also apparently fixed by the new XUL for the rearranged default skin in the 0501 builds. (The non-workaround you describe is reported in some of the DUPs; a more complete workaround was to open a new window and continue there). Instead, there is a new problem, bug 37766, "minimising personal and navigation toolbar causes ui horkage" -- but at least unminimizing works, showing the complete toolbars. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 35181 ***
