There is a new dropdown list in the URL bar, which contains some bookmarks, e.g. "Check your mail" (going to Netscape Webmail). We already have bookmarks and a personal toolbar with basically the same functionality. Please remove it. Linking the Netscape chrome metabug, because I think, the motivation for this was Netscape's ad revenue.

that would be the keyverb drop down. they aren't bookmarks at all. I believe it is also where you will(coming soon) find the recent history of typed urls.

You could propably achieve exactly the same functionality with bookmarks or the personal toolbar (the latter is propably more obvious from an UI perspective). I'm not sure, but I doubt, you'd find widespread support for this feature in Mozilla.
Summary: Remove hotlinks dropdown from location/url bar → Remove keyverb dropdown from location/url bar
If it is supposed to keep the history, why is it on the left?
The keywords are propably completely useless to Mozilla users (= developers, testers etc.), because they are used to the keyboard and can type this one word by themselves. OK, removing this feature completely from Mozilla is propably not the right thing. Other Mozilla vendors might want to use it, too (although I don't hope so). So, I suggest to remove all *entries* or to leave *at most* one 1). Adjusting SUMMARY. 1) I suggest this one to locate a bugzilla bug by its number.

I have already checked in code that removes the keyverbs from the mozilla builds, but enables for the netscape builds
