This only happens in the first navigator window opened; when I open another navigator window and go to the same page to try typing in a text field, the space works fine. In the first Mozilla Navigator window opened, in the same page (http: //www.craigslist.org/cgi-bin/formProcessor.pl?formName=freePostingForm), pressing space in a text field in the same form results in a Page Down so that I can no longer see what I was typing. Annoying.
