Is anything being done to fix this bug? Seems like dynamically setting styles
is a pretty essential feature of DHTML.

This only affects an edge case that noone else seems to have run into n a while,
we have bigger fish to fry...

forget my last comment - using trunk build 2002090108 on win-xp the testcase
works fine.

Going out on a limb and marking worksforme (since it does, and I know for a fact
that we have lots and lots of code to ensure that it works).
