Because the query string is so long, it's difficult to simplify the it manually in order to give the URL to someone else and have it be recognizable, or have it fit in the location bar or the status bar. It would be nice if bugzilla could do this automatically by stripping out the parameters that still have their default values set after a user hits "simplify the url for this query" (radio button above "submit"?). Examples of where this would have been useful or would still be useful: - http://www.mozilla.org/quality/most-frequent-bugs/ has a query that searches for mail/news bugs with "unread" in the summary, but you can't tell that easily. - http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ "view bugs already reported today" - making a slashdot sig that points to a list of six bugs without going over slashdot's sig-length limit
