startup time is too slow

On a PowerTowerPro 225, a build from yesterday (050720) locked up for 30 seconds
during first startup. A second startup still took 25 seconds.
This is a mac-specific bug (as opposed to bug #29249 which appears to be Windows-
specific)

Ok, I did some timing tests with build 2000051308 on an iMac DV Special Edition
with MacOS 9 and 128MB RAM. It took 30s for mozilla to load the very first
time, including creating a profile and registry. After that mozilla loads in
about 8-9 seconds. If I delete the registry and profile then it takes about 2
extra seco

This bug needs a better owner. Looks like people are actually working on the
what .dlls should be loaded on startup in the win version of this bug (bug
29249) but nothing's going on here.
