I thought I had filed this bug a while ago but I don't see it now. I can't open preferences from the Edit menu in Composer.
we should fix this for M16; Akkana sees the problem on Linux (assuming it is all platforms)

verified in 5/12 build.

this seems to be broken again. Cannot open preferences from composer launched from mailnews. also if I load preferences from a standalone composer it opens an empty pref panel. tested with win32 062914 mozilla build on NT.
