We definitely have repaint problems that are not the editor's fault.
The border styles while in HTML Mode will get fixed when XPFE supplies (or I
do after 5/16) a new "plain" version of textfield (Ben promised this).
There are other paint issues with the window contents not being redrawn
correctly -- these will be filed as separate bugs, as they are style sheet
loading/unloading problems.

can't check to see if this is still a problem, accessing HTML Source crashes the
app (bug is already submitted) making dependency to that bug
