Reproduced with today's debug build of Viewer: - launch the app - click the window close box ==> crash The crash comes from the last changes from <danm> and <sdagley> in nsMacEventHandler.cpp, commented as "terrible hack alert".

The bug that <danm> was working on is #3676
I don't think that we can choose to ignore this crash in Viewer because embedding apps are also concerned.

The broken source file has been returned to its original state, and the code causing the regression has been moved elsewhere. It likes its new home so much better that I've even removed the "terrible hack alert" comment.
