Plugin installed: Acrobat Reader 4.05 Am seeing this problem in build 2000051108 Install and launch seamonkey. Simply click on the link given above. Observe that the link displays in the locationbox textfield but plugin does not launch. This was working fine in Apr 12 m16 build. Plugins like quicktime and shockwave show same behaviour. Bug 35351 is logged for same behaviour on shockwave plugin.
Shrirang, I think we have several dups for this.

I still cannot load pdf files (via html files) as mentioned in bug 22954. Only the file url appears in the url box and ifI click in the url textfield and hit enter , an Unknown File Type dialog comes up. Attaching a testcase. I also have the nppdf32.dll in the mozilla plugins folder. (2000063008:windows).
Attached file testcase (deleted) —
shrirang: Might this bug actually be a duplicate of bug 22954?
