Since yesterday morning, apparently on Windows only, the first time I try to open a message compose window, this one doesn't show up. The window seem to be around as the application will not quit after I close all the * visible* window. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1) Start the mozilla (no argument) 2) menu File/New/Message 3) console echos the following and then nothing (the onload handler is never called): WEBSHELL+ = 6 WEBSHELL+ = 7 4) try again, menu File/New/Message 5) console echos: WEBSHELL+ = 8 WEBSHELL+ = 9 Compose Load from XUL [snap] 6) The compose window show up normally The same problem appears when opening a message compose window from the mail 3pane window toolbar.

Looks like an XPApp problem!

No, composer doesn't have this problem. And yes, message compose works fine on Mac
