win32 build 2000051210
1. Open prefs
2. Close prefs window (doesn't matter if anything is changed or not)
3. Open prefs again. Wah! Only the panel containing the last settings accessed
is shown - no tree, no OK/Cancel buttons.
Messages in the console window:

*** panel to load is = chrome://communicator/content/pref/pref-navigator.xul

WEBSHELL- = 6
WEBSHELL- = 5
WEBSHELL+ = 6
JavaScript error:
line 0: parent.initPanel is not a function
I see this under linux as well. Changing status to new, severity: critical.
Major loss of function.
