At times, if you switch from Mozilla to another app, such that the Mozilla app is completely obscured, when you switch back to Mozilla, the browser window (sometimes the whole window, sometimes a single frame) won't redraw. All you'll get is a blank background. Hitting refresh brings the page back up.

rekle@yahoo.com (Richard Ekle) can you provide some specific steps to reproduce this behavior? Which build are you seeing this on? Are there specific URLs that this happens on? This bug is to vague to be useful without more information. I'm not sure how to reliably reproduce this problem. It happens only occaisionally. It seems to be related to loading a page while Mozilla is obscured (either because it's minimized or because it's covered by another window). It's happened on the last several nightly builds (including the current nightly build. I will add more info on how to reliably reproduce it when I figure out how.

exsample: if i have ICQ and try to send someone in my list message and message can't be send quickly and i've try to load some new URL, ICQ sending windows stays over mozilla window , i think this happens whan user have slow internet connection or the new URL that i've requested reply very slow

Does this happen when the page has already been successfully displayed in the browser, or only while the page is loading?

Kevin, reassiging to you on the hunch that it is view related. This bug has been marked "future" because the original netscape engineer working on this is over-burdened. If you feel this is an error, that you or another known resource will be working on this bug,or if it blocks your work in some way -- please attach your concern to the bug for reconsideration.

All you have to do to reproduce is take any window, be it a folder, an IE window, an ICQ message window, and drag it overtop Mozilla in a jerky fashion, sometimes things redraw ok, sometimes they don't repaint.
