Overview: Some 3pane Mail Toolbar buttons should have a dropdown menu. The Mail Spec does not have the new down arrow design. The following describes the behavior that the Browser currently uses. A small down arrow should appear on the bottom right of the intended button. A quick left click on the down arrow will show a list of choices. Left click+holding the mouse should also work. A right click does nothing. The buttons effected are: 1.Reply (while a News msg is selected) 2.Reply All (while a News msg is selected) 3.Forward (while a Mail msg is selected) 4.File (Drop down menu of available folders that are open) 5.Next (jglick: Shouldn't this apply to Mail and News?)

nominate as b3mail so this will be evaluated as potential for nsbeta3. Are will still planning on doing these button menu items? per mail triage: remove nsbeta3 nomination and move to future milestone. For the short term, we will combine items here into three bugs (in 3pane) to address for nsbetat3: 1. delete, change text, move menuitems; 2. enable/disable and text changes on context (dynamic); 3. accelerator keys to work. When this bug gets revisited after the first release, we'll need to see what items remaining that need to be addressed. (Actually, this is a duplicate of one of JF's bugs - bug 45524.)

This bug isn't for menu correctness, it is for the dropdown menus in the Toolbar. Changing the Subject of this bug. As Lisa mentioned this is similar to bug 45524 for Mail compose. Shouldn't this be nsbeta3- like bug 45524 also (i'm not sure if it matters, but for tracking purposes maybe?)?

Adding nsbeta3 keyword to bugs which already have nsbeta3 status markings so the queries don't get all screwed up.
