This is basically done, or rather, the background stuff is now in place, but Solaris 2.5.1 x86 still doesn't quite build (one error remaining, and it's a nasty one). All that remains is to fix the build error, and add this to the list of nightly builds.

I'm building this daily now on Solaris 2.5.1, but the builds will never succeed until Sun (or someone) can explain this to me: rm -f libxpcom.so gcc -shared -Wl,-h -Wl,libxpcom.so -o libxpcom.so ./plvector.o ./nsCOMPtr.o ./nsDebug.o ./nsHashtable.o ./nsID.o ./nsComponentManager.o ./nsEnumeratorUtils.o ./nsEmptyEnumerator.o ./nsRepository.o ./nsServiceManager.o ./nsSupportsArray.o ./nsSupportsArrayEnumerator.o ./nsConjoiningEnumerator.o ./nsTraceRefcnt.o ./nsProxyEvent.o ./nsXPComFactory.o ./nsXPIDLString.o ./nsEventQueueService.o ./xcDll.o ./nsAllocator.o ./nsGenericFactory.o ./nsRegistry.o Text relocation remains referenced against symbol offset in file <unknown> 0xb70 ./nsComponentManager.o <unknown> 0xb64 ./nsComponentManager.o <unknown> 0xb6c ./nsComponentManager.o <unknown> 0xb74 ./nsComponentManager.o <unknown> 0xb60 ./nsComponentManager.o <unknown> 0xb68 ./nsComponentManager.o ld: fatal: relocations remain against allocatable but non-writable sections gmake[2]: *** [libxpcom.so] Error 1 gmake[2]: Target `libs' not remade because of errors. When this is fixed, Solaris/x86 builds will be delivered daily just like Solaris/sparc and Linux/x86. Closing the bug.
Brian, are you still interested in packaging daily solaris x86 builds? I've built occasionally since August and haven't had this problem.
