When porkjockeys was originally set up, it was structured somewhat differently than the rest of the mozilla-foo newsgroups to help cut down on noise. We'd like to move it back to normal form. This probably means turning the mailing list into mozilla-porkjockeys, aliasing porkjockeys to that, and getting rid of the underlying infrastructure that generates the bounce mails, at least.

It may also involved sending out a modified newgroup message to make it unmoderated.

Can we get some action on this soon?

Email lists are done. porkjockeys -> mozilla-porkjockey Newsgroup changes not done -> passign this to Maryag.

Unmoderated netscape.public.mozilla.porkjockeys and added mozilla-porkjockeys@mozilla.org as a gateway to email address.

This was only fixed on servers under netscape/mozilla control. A booster newgroup message with an "unmoderated" keyword needs to be sent out to communicate this to the rest of the net.

Mark, is there something still to be done for this? Send a unmoderate control message?
