2000052320 linux Make a change in customize character encoding. Click ok. You get a dialog that says: /-+---------+-\ |-| Confirm |_| +-+---------+-+ |? | | | | Ok Cancel | \-------------/ This might look ok on windows [I doubt it does], but it looks awful here. Either way; I already clicked ok and do not need a confirmation dialog [we've removed thing like this from other places], please remove this dialog. If you need it for debugging please include a caption.

Cata, sorry for bugging you again: do you think we can get rid of the "Restart your browser for changes to take effect" dialog? It looks like the changes get reflected now as soon as we update the pref value. If that's true, it might be time get rid of the confirm...

moving to M17. According to Cata we still need to restart the browser for the pref changes to take effect. This confirmation dialog alerts the user to this fact and will eventually disappear (although it's been there for 3 months or so now). Bug 40252 deals with the missing text...
