2000052320 linux ZOT HAS LEFT #MOZILLAZINE DORON (D@N100P012.ADSL.HIGHWAY.TELEKOM.AT) HAS JOINED #MOZILLAZINE etc. These messages should not have been converted to uppercase.
They are not in uppercase, they are in a small-caps font. This is all css-able anyway. Once a prefs window is in place, you'll be able to specify a user css file to override the default one.
