Click on "File" to drop the file menu down, then just run the mouse (pretty
quickly) back and forth over the rest of the menu labels (Edit, View, Search,
and so forth). As you do, you'll see various boxes (presumably the
outlines/containers of the menus) appear and disappear. Apparently the
container of the menus is being drawn first, but then you're switching menus
before the actual menu itself has time to draw.

I'm on Win ME 450mhz PII and still seeinge in 53108 if you cycle fairly
quickly. jrgm - seeing this?

No, I don't see this (on win95 ~450MHz PIII). The menu contents draw fully,
even as they flash quickly on and off.
Perhaps win ME pre-release goodness? [Note to self: go track down a copy
of the RC; this will go gold someday, perhaps before Nav6.0]

alrighty. looks like i'm alone here :) I'll try this under win2k/win98 in a
little while or wait until win ME moves further along, but for now, I'll take
this off your list.
